i'm applying for a position as an aircraft sales assistant and i'm curious to know about the aircraft salesperson's avg. income. what should i expect as their assistant as far as both job descrption and income?!!? i haven't been able to find any salaries to go from. I <3 AIRPLANE NOISE!

They are all over the board, but most have a low base and high commission. The great ones are able to make upwards of $300k. Good luck with the new position.

It depends on the company and the area where you live. Some are commission only, some salary and commision, some salary only. Assistants are usually hourly employees who do all the crap work and never see any of the big bucks from commission sales.

The last time i talked to a Boeing sales rep he said it's around 1%
