They sell a version in Europe. I figure if they took a ZX3 model, chopped the top off & added a convertible soft top, it would look cooler than a VW Cabriolet. With minimum changes (different rear-end for tailight placement & some body stiffening) this could be a big profit maker for Ford, I believe. Would you consider buying one, like me?

No, don't work for Ford - I desperately want an affordable 4 cylinder, front wheel drive, 4-seater convertible - try to find such a thing being produced by ANY manufactuer currently & get back with me if ya do - Good luck!

ford sucks.

i wouldnt buy one..my Mom in law has a focus 4dr..ugh.,.such a POS.

for an inexpensive convertable..
try a mitsubishi eclipse. from 1997+ they seat 4 people
id buy an eclipse over any ford. mitsubishis are pretty good cars for the price.

Toyota makes the solara...or their older celicas like 97-98 convertables...

In order for me to buy my next "anything" , it needs to be reasonably priced (cheaper) and get at least 50-60 miles per gallon - so far that looks like it ain't gonna happen, as the trend of getting screwed by big oil and Auto manufacturers has gained solid footing.

No, Ford Focus' are very expensive to fix once they break down. The replacement parts from Ford are ridiculously expensive.

No. American cars are horrible, and the Focus is ugly. Making it a convertible is like putting lipstick on a pig.
