When I bring up evil scriptures, (http://www.evilbible.com) Christians have to start lying about what God is really thinking or what God meant. It's impossible to read God's mind

Blasphemy is denying that God is God. I am a Christian and KNOW that God is not evil. If here were evil, then those who deny Him or go against Him would be in a world of hurt. However, He has chosen mercy for them and gives them another chance. I don't ever claim to know what God is thinking. I pray to God and allow Him to SHOW me His answers and the way He wants me to go and the things He wants me to do. I will admit that I don't always like His answers, but He knows what is best for me. For example, my husband and I REALLY wanted to buy a house in a particular community. We worked with the bank for 1 1/2 years trying to get this house that had been forclosed on. I prayed hard that God would let us get this house. However, not long ago, God completely closed this door of opportunity. I was very disappointed and upset. I cried, prayed, asked why, etc. Well, God knew what I didn't. I found out last week that there was faulty eletrical work in the bedroom. It caught fire and burned several rooms. The room the fire started in was to be the room my 12 year old daughter would have been sleeping in. God protected us without me knowing it. He knows what's best. We just have to have faith!

False. that is an irrational statement, besides reading the propoganga on that site,(most people who reject God or the Bible do so because of morality) have you done any serious investigation. You sound like a Parrot, just mimicking what you have read, and no real independent study. Ho, hum, what a bore. This is called bias, and you are intolerant. I'll make you a deal, you order J.P. God is a serious dude. That's why he's soverign. Don't you worry, He is righteous. When I think of the people I respect the most in my life they are the hard ones. The ones who might have been considered a little 'mean' or 'intolerant'. The nice guys didn't help me build any kind of character. For the most part, got treated as door mats for going out of their way to be 'nice' or most people's concept of 'godlike'. Don't be fooled!
I'll go to your site, but I'm sure its some play on words or manipulation of some kind. I'm back. Yeah, that was pretty weak. Lots of Old Testament scripture reference. O.K. A) The jewish people are God's chosen people. B) We live in the age of grace now thanks to Jesus. I think secretly you want to Love the Lord. You just can't bear your cross.

It is far beyond human reason to be able to determine for sure who is going to Heaven or Hell. That kind of thinking got us indulgences and other bargins into the afterlife.
