Try removing some unwanted programs using the "Add Remove Programs" from the control panel.
some times the "Add Remove Programs" facility does not remove all the files of the program. So you might as well check the "Program Files" folder to manually remove the left overs of the uninstalled programs. But be careful not to remove an installed program, as it will give unwanted results.

Your not removing enough
Try add/remove programs in the control panel and get rid of some programs that you dont use as much.
If this does not work I would consider a new hard drive where you could remove the swap file and put it on secondary drive.
Also try search for files and folders for *.tmp , you can safely delete whatever comes up.

1) remove unwanted programs from add/remove programs through control panel
2) delete cookies, temp files, *.bak files,
3) uupdate ur antivirus and perform full system scan
4) clean ur registry (use registry first aid 4.0, excellent one) or use system mechanic pro
5) defrag ur system from accessories -> defrag
that's it

You probably need to delete files you don't use anymore, like old games, etc...
