We are looking to take the kids on an outing today. We were thinking the African Lion Safari, but the tickets are $$$$. Anyone know a good place for a family of four to go on a beautiful Sunday afternoon? Something that is more "kid friendly" for ages closer to our children .We live in south western ontario, near Woodstock. Thanks!!

Hi you can always try local parks, picnics with kites, fishing, or try a nature hike. Look for story times at local book stores too, free and fun.

The good thing is that kids don't know the difference between a "cool" expensive place and a city park. They only realize that you are taking them somewhere special. They will be totally happy just to be with you and have you spend time playing with them. Go to a park, zoo, beach or even the mall, just to play video games, and they will love you for it. Good Luck
