I work at the blue cake co. and the best fondant is pettinice DO NOT USE WILTON it might be the easiest to work with but it smells like burnt plastic and it tastes like it too. On the other hand pettinice fondant smells good and tastes good. You can find it any were on-line or at Vanese and if you don't have one in your town go on-line and order it from them. the best place to order it is at KitchenKrafts.com

Ready made, or as a mix In store that specializes in cake decorating, such as Michael's, or a craft supply store. Wilton (like the cake decorating supplier) makes a ready made fondant.

I buy it at 'Michaels Craft and Floral'. If there isn't one of those in your town, I beleive Wal-Mart also carries the Wilton's brand.

the lady i use to buy mine from told me to 'just use powdered sugar'. She said it works the same and is easier to get.
