I have no respect for her. If we still had a draft going and her son joined the armed forces because he had no choice then maybe she'd have a right to complain. However, he joined because he wanted to and obviously felt it was his duty to defend his country. For his mother to act this way is in effect making a mockery of her son's bravery and personal convictions by basically saying he died for nothing.

The lesson is, don't P!SS off mummy!
She had a point & still does, while every1 is obsessed with Israel & it's land-grab/killing innocents/breaking old UN resolutions. 159 to date!
Who's concentrating on Iraq?
It's becoming yesterdays news, sadly!
Last I heard the Iraq WAR was illegal!
Hans Blix of UN said so back in Dec 2003!
Even though the UN has been asked 2 leave the US, the mighty West now want new UN resolutions
Y?
Coz at least it looks like they're doing something!
If it had been my son & I lost him over an Oil grab by Mr GW Bush I'd B P!SSED off 2.
She isn't alone & the masses R seeing GW 4 what he is.
An alcoholic, paranoid megalomaniac!
A man incharge of his own arsenal of WMD & out there with the fairies/pixies.

Cindy is not worth the time to even think about. She is a disgrace to her son, Casey. She is now a tool for any leftist cause and has even gone as far as siding with communist Caeser Chavez. I love how she actallly gained weight on her hunger strike. The tye-dye cow needs to go home, shut up and honor her son, whom by the way was raised by his Father.

I think she has a right to express her opinion. Just because some people don't agree with the war doesn't mean they're not patriotic. I was patriotic even before 9/11. Sad to say it took something like that for some people to wake up. I don't agree with the war, even though I support our guys and appreciate all the good things they do.

She has a right as an American to whatever political speech she chooses. I respect that, and so should everyone.

As far as WHAT she says, she loses me when she says her dead son would approve of her words and actions. Maybe so, maybe not. She can never know that, any more than loony preachers *know* that Jesus Christ would have approved of this, that or the other position. We should all let the dead rest and not put words in their mouths.

I totally get your point and agree with you. I made sure that was understood before I went over. Everybody's entitled to their opinion, but when reality doesn't support your opinion in the first place, and then you use your child's dead body to justify ranting about your incorrect opinion so you can line your pockets with the money of folks who feel sorry for you while incidentally damaging the cause your child died for and making life harder for his buddies - you've transcended expressing your opinion and made you way into fraudulent and treasonous behavior.

Neither. I feel pity towards her that she must feed her sadness by being a media whore. Obvioulsy she tasted "fame" and couldn't live with her 15 minutes so she is doing whatever it takes to get more. She is addicted to the attention and will feed that addiction by doing whatever it takes. Including defiling her son's reputation.

She needs intense therapy and will not get it until the left is finished with her and tosses her on the scrap heap.

I'm with you. She's beyond the point where grief ends and greed begins. She's after the fame and free donations now. Her son is just a number to be used toward that end.

I don't "hate" her, but she does annoy the heck out of me. Seems to me she she had issues with her son that have NOTHING to do with the war of the administration.
It has come to the point that she is just constantly looking for her next 15 minutes of fame. Very sad, really.

I pity her, she has been grabbed by the anti-war movement and she has built this huge anti-Bush stance. Bush will be gone in a few years and then what does she have? She has alienated her family and friends on her crusade and when all is said and done she will find herself alone when she no longer fills a need with the anti war crowd.
