Caused in one of three ways
1. Inherited propensity for a particular cancer ,or a weak immune system as in old age or certain diseases
2. Pure accident ! Cells are dividing millions of times a day and mistakes happen . A defective cell if not recognized by the immune system can then divide into more defective cells and bingo! you got cancer
3.Chronic insult causing repeated cell injury . This is probably how smoking and other life choices can cause cancer .
In essence cancer is a risk of living just like car accidents and old age ,you can avoid a lot of risk factors by life style choices but your genetic makeup and old age may get you anyways . The good thing is with early detection cancer can be cured like any other illness ,so live healthy ,get regular exams ,but don't be a nut about it !

Dis-ease in the body causes cancer, either from external sources or internally. Cancer or any other form of dis-ease can be cured through the right vibration. Everything is vibration and can be cured through such.
We all vibrate at slightly different rates. That is why someone that smoked all their life can live to be 90 and someone else that didn't but was exposed to second hand smoke frequently could die at 43. Those vibrations react differently towards each individual.
Unfortunately because of the way we do business and the way we treat our planet, there is barely anything left that is truly good for you anymore. Fish is good for you but all the mercury and all the other pollutants in the oceans and lakes make it almost toxic. Just about everything you put in your mouth is bad for you.
Nice job America, world!

There are more than 100 types of cancers; any part of the body can be affected.
In 2005, 7.6 million people died of cancer - 13% of the 58 million deaths worldwide.
More than 70% of all cancer deaths occur in low and middle income countries.
Worldwide, the 5 most common types of cancer that kill men are (in order of frequency): lung, stomach, liver, colorectal and oesophagus
Worldwide, the 5 most common types of cancer that kill women are (in the order of frequency): breast, lung, stomach, colorectal and cervical
Tobacco use is the single largest preventable cause of cancer in the world.
One fifth of all cancers worldwide are caused by a chronic infection, for example human papillomavirus (HPV) causes cervical cancer and hepatitis B virus (HBV) causes liver cancer.
A third of cancers could be cured if detected early and treated adequately.
All patients in need of pain relief could be helped if current knowledge about pain control and palliative care were applied.
40% of cancer could be prevented, mainly by not using tobacco, having a healthy diet, being physically active and preventing infections that may cause cancer.

You said that you've heard that deodorant can cause breast cancer, has there been a study on the countries that do not use deodorant. Are there women there that don't get breast cancer as much as those who use deodorant? I think it depends on how your body fights off invasion by harmful foreign substances. How well it can recognize and destroy a foreign body when it's trying to make it's self look like one of your bodies own cell that it is trying to destroy.

Cancer is a deficiency of vitamin B17.
Apricot kernels are known to prevent and cure cancer, even though the medical establishment has worked night and day and even lied to suppress it. Vitamin B17 is found in most all fruit seeds such as the apple, peach, cherry, orange, nectarine and apricot. It is found in some beans and many grasses such as wheat grass. The hard wooden pit in the middle of the peach is not supposed to be thrown away. In fact, the wooden shell is strong armor protecting one of the most important foods known to man, the seed.

I think everyone has the potential to get cancer and our immune system usually recognizes and destroys these malfunctioning cells or abnormal DNA or RNA before these can develop into cells to cause problems. I think Cancer is more likely when we are stressed or our natural defenses do not work. I think the cure for cancer lies within us - to learn what these natural defenses are and how to make sure they are always working.

I don't know what to say really. If you listen to everything that the "experts" say... EVERYTHING can cause cancer.
Overweight causes cancer.
Alcohol causes cancer.
Caffeine causes cancer.
Too much sugar causes cancer....
Oh yeah,... artificail sweeteners cause cancer too
What I want to know is how does the FDA allow products such as Sacharin to be sold when it used to say right on the products... "sacharrin has been known to cause cancer in laboratory rats."
WTF!? They KNOW it caused/causes cancer and they still allow everyone and their brother to put in in products as an artificial sweetener!? That's ridiculous.
