your TV has 3 guns that make up all the colors sent to the tube (yellow, blue, and red). loss of high voltage to guns could cause your TV to lose the picture. it's lost power some how. it can be fixed you need to find out what made it lose power. you can take it a community college that has an electronics class and the can fix it for the price of parts. i think the labor is free because it allows hands on experience for the students.

ok, first off the three primary colors or Red Green and Blue not yellow. anyway it could be alot of things. could be a loss of the heater voltage to the back of the 3 crts (6.3 volts AC) It could also be vertical deflection failure, bad flyback transformer. It would help if you provided a make and model number. But the thing is there are many many things that could cause that problem. Even might be an EEprom problem. Only a competant tech can tell you by examining it and testing a few things.
