GREAT QUESTION...I'M SO GLAD YOU ASKED IT!! I'm hoping all the teen girls who get knocked up from unprotected sex read this question and realize what the consequences to their actions are. I've been trying to tell them for months that a mature responsible guy does not want to raise some other guys bastard child. The good ones, (educated, employed, respectable etc...) want clean women with no baggage. I for one do not blame them! Believe it or not, guys are more old fashioned than women. When they are ready for a family, they make a commitment, get married, and THEN start a family. If a guy isn't ready for a family, they don't make a commitment, as simple as that. Women on the other hand think they can force a commitment by getting knocked up...

I like the way you stated your question, you said "most" men. There are quite a few guys out there, that don't mind dating a woman with children. Nowadays, its hard to find a woman that doesn't have at least 1 child, so its not a surprise unless a person isn't honest. Unfortunately, most men do not want a ready-made family. They don't want the excess baggage or responsibility of having children around, or having to find a sitter everytime they want to take a woman out. Also, nobody wants to have to deal with baby-daddy drama - that is a huge turn off and most men will pass on a woman with children. it's not exactly fair, but those are the facts.

I think the main reason why guys run once they find out that a woman has kids because they don't want to take on the responsibility of taking care of another man's kids. They also don't want to get too attached to the kids and once they break up, then the kid's feelings will get hurt. Some men would rather date a woman who does not have any kids than to date a woman who does have kids.

Because they're not ready for responsibilites. They also like deciding if they want kids. They probably also want kids they're actually related to.

They don't want to be financially responsible for them. Also because you were in a failed relationship, they are afraid to associate with you.

Its just the ones that don't want to have the kids around.

usually we think your looking for a father figure for them and thats all your after. Sad to say, but i've ran into a few women, and that was all they were after

responsibilty is hard for guys. to much to soon it scares them. there are the few nice guys who dont mind this and are more mature for there age.
