The secret is that tap water is free. But, Starbucks POLICY, will only give you a cup of free water, if you are with someone who is buying one of their overpriced drinks! OTHERWISE Starbucks will REFUSE you a cup of water, unless you PAY for the Price of the cup, as if it was full of something.

A small latte or cappuccino should be under 3 dollars. Unless of course you get soy milk and they feel that they should charge you extra!! Jazz it up with cinnamon and splenda and your good to go!

Buy large, split with a friend. ask for an extra cup, it'll be less than three ^.~ ... but you'll need a friend who wants the same thing as u.
