I know there is piracy going on today but in different forms but really, do you really think that pirates still exsist or they just stopped?

They still exist and are a huge problem. Pirates mainly function out of southeast Asia and some parts of Africa.

Arrgh!!! I'm a pirate...Nah, there were pirates a long long time ago, but they never hid treasures and stuff. They just stole from passing merchant ships. They also never dressed or talked like we think. Blame Disney for our current belief. Although i do believe that if they were pirates as hot as Johnny depp and Orly, they'd still around or i would have been born a couple of centuries earlier.

Actually, there are still pirates around. These are just as dangerous as the pirates of old. But, they have more technological things with them.
The golden age of pirates stopped because they had caught most of the infamous ones. It seems to me, that there was only one generation of them.
I don't think the pirates of today are "true" pirates in the way of the world, they are thought of as common criminals.

Yes there are more pirates today than at any time in history. Today they are called CEOs, and/or government officials . As a rule however, thet bury their loot in Swiss bank accounts.
As for the type of pirates you are referring to, it is a thriving trade in south eastern asian waters. Their target are people who are sold into slavery in 3rd world countries to do jobs that have been exported from Canada & the USA

Well in a matter of speaking, yes. But they are now called thieves. There were a lot of stories that talk about pirates and how they stopped but there are still thieves running around robbing then hiding them so that they don't get caught.

Sure! There are plenty of Pirates. South China Sea off the coast of Thailand,Vietnam, also Indian Ocean off the coast of Somalia
very dangerous in those waters. you better have weapons if you dare to travel through. probably in the Caribbean too.

They still exist. They usually used smaller boats and try to take over ships with guns...
One ship stopped pirates by shooting them with water hoses. They are in a lot of waters, but are most active on Africa's northeast coast and the Indian Ocean.

Yes, the pirates that take over ships and steal everything still exist. They will never stop existing, as long is there are people who like stealing and ships carrying valuable cargo, there will be pirates.

They are not burying their treasure underground--only one or two did that anyway--but now they prolly have Swiss Bank Accounts-LOL. And yes Pirates still exist.

Yes, there are still active pirates off the Ivory Coast in Africa.
