Predatory instinct. Just like lions separating a weak or sick member from the herd, we pick up on weakness as a sign of an easier target. Someone who acts helpless or needy seems to be more likely to be accepting of a guy in her life at that point in time. However, as we mature, we realize stronger, more independent women are going to be less likely to ruin our lives by running up debt & not working, so our brains catch up with our libidos & we seek someone more likely to be a good partner than a liability.

The same reason why nurses sometimes fall for there patients. They like to be the one that helps or alot of times they see that as a way in to a relationship with that person.Good luck.

Because they will powerful, plus these women probably will have low self esteem which is good for men because they can tell them what to do.
