WAAH WAAH
I take it you are neither the top of anything, nor a scientist.
Also, is not it presumptuous to say 80% of the top scientists are atheist? Have you actually met and confirmed that each and every on of the 80% are truly atheist?
If not you are a liar!

Some Atheists are satisfied in their beliefs. Some are not, and they try to satsify themselves by bashing the beliefs of Christians. Alternately, they take the abuse that they recieve from Christians and suck it like vampires.
I'd say that a large portion that the hate that is felt between Christians and Atheists is imagined. And I'd further guess that another large portion is a direct result of the imagined hatred.
If you're really satisfied as an athiest, let the foolish Chrisitans believe their lies. Similarly, to the Christians, if you're satisfied as a Christian, there's not much that can be done for an athiest, they likely have all the resources they need, but deny them. The best that a Christian can do is show the providence of Christianity through good works. Maybe athiests will decide that there really is something to the whole Christianity thing if Christians are constantly doing great works.

2. They don't want to talk to you since they think your going to give them nonsense ahtiest gibberish (no offense)
3. Because they feel they would be misguided like you
4. Well thats true, just how human nature goes as GOD MADE IT.
5. Where's your sources, and even if that was true the other 20% are make more sense, and that is only the 80% of these 300 years, and what's the point of being so knowledgable and smart if you don't believe in God (i think you'd be smart enough by then).
6. There is no proof that they could be rulers, and where did you get that from?
7. No they actually don't Athiest scientists already did that themselves.

Nope. They bash beliefs because they take the worst examples of the religion and make it the norm. What would an atheist think if I took an atheist mass murderer and claim that all atheists were the same? They would think that I was crazy. However, atheists do that to Christians all of the time and we can't call them on it because it's insensitive or atheist bashing. Personally, I believe that an atheist has more faith than a Christian because it takes more faith to believe that everything happened by chance than by a creator. By the way many scientists believe that there is a creator. I'd say that the more research people do to disprove God the more that they turn to him.

you know i am a christian and I would be a friend to a atheists. i would not push my views on them and I would make it clear that they do not do the same to me. Anyone who will not be a friend to a person who is not of the same religion is crazy. It does not matter is you are a believer of god or not. although most atheist I have come across are full of hate towards me since I am a christian so why is that. It should not matter what you believe what color you are or if you are gay or straight. People are people so why not like them for who they are not what they choose to believe. That is what makes us all great our free will and the ability to decide for our self what path we want to follow

Why would people stop talking to you just because you are atheist? You're entitled to your beliefs. Besides, science and religion do not cancel each other out. I think given time and more advanced technology we will all find that none of us have all the answers. All possibilities are possible and we are only limited by the prison of our minds.
(Oh, yeah, I'm a believer by the way, and so was Einstein)

Well, you are the one and only exception to the rule.
Most atheists I know say they wish believers would stop talking to them. You have the opposite reaction. A first in history.
I always hear the remark..." quit cramming your religion down other peoples throats!"
I guess you live happier than most atheists for you get to live freely and without someone forcing their ideas on you.
Fat Albert, who cares what you think?

One of my best friends are Muslims, and I have a lot of people who do not believe in Christ that I am friends with. Just because they don't believe what I believe doesn't mean I can't be friends with them. And i am a Christian, and I love those who don't believe in God. And God loves them too even you!

a million. i don't hate God because of fact i don't have self assurance he/she/it exists. 2. I artwork with your definitions and outlines of God, so end making your God look like the "super previous guy in the sky". subject solved. 3. Emotional believers could do nicely to examine the justifications why they suspect in the 1st place. i could be doing them a favour by ability of making them re-study their faith. 4. loosen up slightly. we at the instant are not all extreme here..
