I think you should report the situation to children protective services. A 13 year old girl has no business with a 14 year old in any kind of "sleep over" arrangement. The fact that the mother allows this is criminal. If it isn't stopped, she will probably have grandchildren soon.

I feel sorry for the kids having such idiots for parents and you can probably find better friends than this. Too bad you probably won't be allowed to be a good influence on the kids!

I hope this won't come out the wrong way but your friend? she's way too ignorant .. you offered her advise because you care as her best friend .. because you care about what life might be like if her daughter is pregnant at the age of 13 .. how life will be more difficult and how her daughter will NOT have a chance in life because she will be too busy caring for a child .. i'd let your friend go for awhile .. you already engraved this thought in her mind and she will have already complained to others .. and others will tell her exactly the same thing .. she'll come around and tell you that you did the right thing .. just watch :)

In the meantime i'd call child services .. NOT so much to make a charge or make an issue about it but IF you want .. this is not your responsibility but you can find out information ... like what happens if childhood pregnancy happens .. what services can there be offered .. government services ... etc etc .. so you can be supportive to your friend and give her advise and comfort if it should happen ...

Friends tend to tell each other how much they hate each other but inside their hearts they wish nothing more than to be able to turn back time ..

Good luck :)

Not only is THAT parent a fool but what about HIS parents??? Just what is the reason for allowing a sleep over like that?
If that woman is your best friend then she should have an open ear to you.

Hey maybe the girl isn't having sex but who's to say the the young man isn't going to push his way into things.

I just can't believe how dum this mum is!

My cousin used to let her 12 yr old daughter's boyfriend sleep over. Not in the same bedroom. But they gave them a lot of trust. Maybe they were thinking that if they trusted them, they wouldn't do anything... I don't know. She had her first baby at 12, and now she is 18 and has 5 babies. Not all by that same boyfriend.

your right! am mean it's OK to trust your child , but this is to much! there hormones and curiosity in the same room is not a good idea! i hate when some parents are in denial. you are trying to let her know that this is a bad idea and she taking it the wrong way. if she don't talk to you it's ok. don't feel bad you did the right thing. sooner or later she will understand what you was talking about.

nicely if his room is going to be on the threshold of yours and away out of your daughters then it is possibly ok. and likewise make specific that they don't stay on your daughter's room for too long... tell them to charm to close out in the residing room, kitchen or someplace the place you or yet another person can save and eye on them from time to time as much as accessible. maybe have a delightful communique along with her boyfriend on the same time as eating dinner or some thing so as which you will get to understand him extra. that would make you experience slightly extra reassured than you at the instant are. if it have been me, a million am could be slightly previous due, i could say by ability of 12.30 am on the latest. yet while they don't have college the next day, and he does not could desire to bypass homestead too early, then i assume it is effective as they are able to sleep in in basic terms slightly. ;)

Oh my! She better not pretend they aren't having sex or getting ready to. I don't think that's a good idea. MY daughter won't have any boys sleeping over until she's in her own place.
