Religion, church, etc. are man-made concepts. No where in the Bible is a certain religion talked about or endorsed. You also have to remember the Bible is written by men - each sometimes with their own version of events etc. I believe all God wants of everyone is for us to treat each other with respect and dignity and that we honor all of God's creatures and the environment we live in. If we could all do that - it would end war, pollution, and a world of other problems. What better religion could there be than that?

Well, you won't find anyone saying 'I follow religion A, but I believe that God would want us to follow religion B', now will you?

This question has no answer. That's precisely why there are so many different religions and so many wars and other forms of cruelty carried out in their name.

Islam, he wants us to all follow Islam, because it is a complete religion and unaltered, and it gives in detail how to live a "good life" and how to avoid a sinning life, It is a religion sent for mankind, (Judaism and Christainity were only sent to the Tribe of Israel), it explains everything in life it is a way of life, and not only one holy day in the whole week, you were all born Muslim it is the religion of Purity and Peace (yes not Buddhism), yet when you grew up you changed.

There is only one God! and God does not want you to follow a specific religion all he asks of us is to believe in him.

I think there is only one religion and that is the religion of treating others as you would want yourself treated, and that should be with kindness and respect. The only thing that matters on this planet is how we are remembered by those that we leave behind, because in 100 years, we will ALL be gone. If God is there waiting to take us all into heaven (and I say all loosely, because not all will make it). What I like to believe about God is that He has given us the most gracious thing he could bestow upon us....and that is the power of CHOICE. How we choose to live our lives is what matters. WHOM it should matter to is yourself. We are born into this world alone and we exit it alone. I would like to think that if God exists, and I try so hard to believe that he does, it's very difficult in this cruel and hurtful world, but it's not God causing the pain it's us, humanity, because of the choices we make--choices which must sadden anyone's God People distort religion....it doesn't matter what is written, what is written is only for those who need to learn...many already know in thier hearts...we have the power in our souls to know what is right and what path we should walk upon. The problem is when evil touches us, we start forgetting about God--people will try and justify thier sins, their greed, their lust, their desires, demand thier rights, impose thier evils upon all of society, that is what has happened and it all contradicts the way we should be living our lives. Greed is in all nations. Religion is therefore baseless because it is corrupted and used for political gains. They corrupt it in the name of their own greed and vanities and then go out and fight or defend and kill all in God's name. It's disgusting.

Don't blame God or any benevolent force you may choose to believe in for any evils that exist. They are all borne of humanity.

So I don't know if that answers your question. We cannot ever prove or disprove God's existence--that much you can count on. It's pretty well all faith from this point onward. So you can spend your life and live it any way you choose, and you have no one to blame for the outcome, if heaven does exist, but yourself. We all have demons to face and overcome, many from our past, when we were innocent and vulnerable and hurt or corrupted, the wrongs others have done to us, the right none have, but ultimately, we become accountable for our lives--we choose eventually--and our bodies ARE the temples to our souls and we must respect them and take care of them, body, mind and spirit. We have all that we need to make it within each and every one of us.

As the bible says, if your eye offends you cut it out...it doesn't mean literally. It means if you don't like the hell you are in, or the evil around you--walk away from it. Find your own path. God will lead you if you are willing to follow. That is what I believe. Heaven can exist here on earth...we all have the power to make our lives heaven or hell...literally...but we must want it bad enough to make the right choices. And I think we also must make our voices heard so the powers that be know that we won't be silenced into submission and watch as this planet and the good and innocent people in it suffer for the greed and sins of others.

In James it says, "True religion before God and the Father is this: To visit orphans and widows in their trouble and to keep oneself unspotted from the world." God wants us to follow Jesus, because He is the only Way, Truth and Life.
