LMAO, I feel the exact same way when I look at my ex. I don't see the stupidest person on the face of the earth, but definitely the biggest A hole on the face of the earth. Like me, you come from a family of achievers. It appears that your sister wants to break the mold, this may be an attempt at rebellion. Granted, I'm certain the guy has qualities that your sister likes and it's those qualities that keeps her in the relationship. The more you all dislike him and bash him the more she'll want him. Try some reverse psychology..embrace him, praise him, etc (it'll be hard) but if you agree with him (even when he's wrong) and take the attitude that he's the greatest guy in the world. Maybe a light will come on for your sister and she'll think what are they doing, he's an idiot!

I saw the stupidest person in the world the day I found out that someone I know was dating, and planned to marry, a man that was convicted of molesting her daughter when she was ten years old. He got out of prison and she took him back. Her daughter, 17 at the time, was still living with her through the courtship. Now: her daughter is 18, the woman and pervert are married, and the daughter wants her 26 year old fiancé who she has been seeing for two years (do the math) to move in with them.
Stupid.
As far as getting your sister to see her man for who he really is, try instead to get her to take a long, hard look at herself. Teach her to value herself and love herself. Then, the manipulations and lies of her man will become apparent to her.

To answer your first question, I think it's impossible to know if you just met the stupidest person on the face on the Earth. It's probably just the stupidest person you've ever met.
As for your sister, you have to let her make her own desicions. If this guy is as stupid as you say he is, she'll eventually break up with him if she has a higher IQ than a rock.

I agree......a real Looser but you are going about this the wrong way. If I were you and your family......I would not say one more negative thing about this guy. Leave it alone. Be as pleasant as you can, not sarcastic....nothing. Let your sister see for herself. She is so busy defending him in front of her family that she is not seeing the real picture. Don't bail her out of this mess.........leave her alone to get out of as she sees fit. No one is making you talk to him or interact with him so just butt out when he is around. Even if he is stupid, that is pretty mean to call someone that to his face. Since perhaps no one knows of his background, maybe he is doing the best he can. Stop making threats and trying to control who your chooses to be in her life. You all are just as bad......think about it!

Nothing. She is going to have to figure it out for herself. She will hopefully get sick of being with someone who is so obviously a LOSER. At 26 he should have a good job, a house of his own, a nice car and a lot to offer a g/f or wife to be.

you know i got the same problem with my sister who been with a guy for 13 yrs and he only a liar, gold digger and evrything else and she has two kids by him but you not going to get them to see the bad because they don't believe it or in my sister case only with him because of the children but you could talk to her but she might see it later and will probably regret being with him and dump him or be like my sister and stay with him when he cause her so much misery. but hopefully she will see him for who he is and dump his stupid *** and tell him go suck on his dick!

You can't. Sounds like your sister is going to have to learn the hard way. Encourage her to use birth control, and to get herself better educated. She will need this, and it might broaden her outlook. She will also need your love, and not very many "I told you so's" from you when the whole thing crashes.

Try saying he "acts stupid" instead of he "is stupid." Sounds like he just wants to belong somewhere. Sounds like he needs to be loved.

Yes, I have, and it's quite funny, it was more 'most boring' for me rather than stupid though.
She will see him for what he is one day, but then again, maybe it is one of the things she loves about them!
