Do you know that when the slaves were freed, their owners became so poor and they couldn't look after themselves. The caring slaves returned to look after the owners for free!
Slaves were a blessing, without them, the US would not be what it is, it would be a backwater hole.

Pro-abortion people say that it is ok to destroy a FETUS. Not a child. And yes, there are unwanted children. People who have babies and don't give them up for various reasons...guilt whatever, do not feel the same guilt when they are destroying their child in an emotional and physical way. It does happen. And in case you didn't notice, their may be a 6 year waiting list, but, what about older kids? When the parents finally get their unwanted children taken away, then these kids are left to foster care and group homes. I don't see anyone on those waiting lists willing to take a chance on them. So, do we really take care of unwanted children? Not good enough we don't. A child is a baby to the age of 18. Unfortunately those people on the lists want a "baby". not a "child". We don't do enough for those children.

1. Pro-Slavers were wrong. Blacks can indeed take care of themselves and many have proven to be the best thing to happen to this country.
2. Not all Pro-Choice people say that the babies will not be taken care of. I am pro-choice. I would never kill my child, but I can understand why some women would (ever been a counselor at a rape clinic/hotline? it can truly open your eyes to the other side of this coin). Yes, in some states there is a long list for adoption, OF BABIES. I don't see why they can't adopt some of the older kids.... and how do you think many of those older kids got stuck in foster care? They were babies no one wanted! Drug or health problems. Wrong ethnicity. Any number of reasons. Abortion is ok if that is the woman's choice (and yes, I think the man should have an equal say). It is ok if the child will not survive the pregnancy and it endagers the woman's life to try. It is ok if the woman cannot handle the mental strain ( or do you want to see another mother of four get off for killing her kids because of the mental strain???? Now THAT is an implausible excuse!). It is ok because this is the United States. We do not make laws based on Religion, we make laws based on Reason. And there are plenty of Rational (and Devoutly Religious) people out there who think that one person's body is theirs to do do with as they please. And yes, the child didn't ask to be born. None of us did! Our parents made a selfish decision to procreate! Our parents could've easily made the selfish decision to abort! OTHER PEOPLES LIVES ARE NOT YOURS TO RULE!
Thank you for your time to read this. Have a good day.

I'm very torn on abortion. I don't think that people should ever abort their baby if they are just pregnant and don't want one. You had sex, you take responsibility, whether that be keeping it, or giving it to a home that will love it. But on the other hand, what if the baby will most likely die due to birth defects... or what if the baby will kill the mother? Some people also argue rape victims have the right to choose. That would be tough.. But I would say that it's not OK to abort a child because nobody would take care of them. For instance, if you have a mentally retarded fetus and don't want to care for him/her... there are lots of people who would gladly take this baby. So I'd probably agree with you. There's so many people who cannot have children yet there are perfectly normal babies being aborted every day. It's sad.

Well take a look at history the Europeans were brutal, we the Americans form a new government and wanted change, when the realized that they had slipped back to governing like the mother country they keep there mouths shut, today you can see old English style rule
The blacks, they gave them welfare as compensation for being slaves and that will end soon.
So the voter has no choice because no matter who you vote for the right person will win

Well, I believe that slavery was such a stain on this country's history, that will never be forgotten. Read "The White Man's Burden", by Winthrop D. Jordan. It is an eye-opening, learning experience.
As for abortion...I certainly don't feel it should be used as a form of birth control. My heart cries for the unborn child, so easily disposed of. Many of these women are unschooled and lazy. Many of these women got themselves in situations much earlier than they should have. Many of these women use abortion as birth control. Although it is not my job, nor anyone else's, to judge these women, I do wish all women would take better care to use birth control methods such as abstinence, condoms, and other sure methods.
Any Planned Parent Agency can help here. I wish all women would have more respect for their bodies and all their possible as yet unborn children.
Education is what we need for the young women and young men, as well as parenting classes.
May God have mercy upon us all.

Slave and Abortion are completely two different subjects.
Abortion is cold blooded murder.
A slave can be set free, make right the wrong if you will. But they can't put life back into a murdered baby

There's a difference between assuming an entire race of people is inferior to the point of unqualified ineptitude and stating that children need guardians. There's no shortage of children abandoned to the system because they don't fit the criteria of potential parents.

Abortion isn't about who will take care of the children; it is about the health of the mother, the ability of a person to make decisions about her own life/body.
Equating an unborn foetus to a full grown slave 145 years ago is stretching it a bit, don't you think?

The War between the states have been over for 150 years. I want you to read a book called "The South Was Right". That will answer all your questions,.
Always remember. History is written by the side that wins. It doesn't mean that it is right. They are writing it for their side.
It is abortion....not aboration.
