I don't see what the big deal is!!! I had my first date when i was twelve and that doesn't mean parents don't care what i do!!! I personally think the parent should decide if thier child is mature enough. Before i went on my first date me and my parents had this long talk about sex and that i could get pregnant. So just bc kids at age 12-14 go on a date does not mean thier parents don't care about them!!!
