I am a 23 yr old and I just move into this place, which was pre-occupied by 3 other girls, after I was transferred to the company HQ. The location is ideal and the rental is reasonable as I got this good deal through my friend. Most importantly it located near my office. They are friendly nice girls in in their 20s and we get along pretty well as housemate. However, When my gf visited me last week and she got uneasy lately with that. I assured her there are 4 of us and nothing we can do but she still insist that I should move out. I like this place and it will be hard for me to find another one nearby. Can someone help me to think of somethings to convince my gf over this?

She commented that I was flirting with the girls too much. But this was not true, we just teasing each other just buddies, not we should get along well with our roommate/house-mate?

If you look at your answers, the guys are saying dump the girl, she's jealous and not understanding. The girls are saying, I would say the same thing, how can you.

Guys and girls think differently. Guys do not approach a relationship the same way a girl does. A girl is all about trust, committment, faith in their mate and when a guy says he is living with three other girls who are young and pretty, she freaks. It is not a trust in you issue, it is a trust in the other girls issue. I trust my husband but I don't always trust the girls he hangs out with.
Guys think a lot more simply than girls. If you think of their brain as a big box. They have many small boxes in that big box but they can only pull one box out at a time. They think of one thing at a time or not at all. You might think it's very simple. You have a place to live, good location, reasonable rent, etc. You are not thinking in terms of cheating. But, because she is a girl, she is.
I hope everything works out ok. Good luck.

Tell her that you will move out if she can find another place in the same distance from the job and make up the difference in the rent of what you pay now to what you will pay in your new place. I've found that things work out a lot better if I am in agreeance with my wife, but I have to make things difficult still because sometimes I like whatever she doesn't. As you like living where you are living because it is comfortable and convenient, her priorities differ from yours but she should be more understanding.

One of the best way I can think of is to invite your gf to come over and stay with you for weeks and during her stay you just have to behave in the way you like your gf to see. This not only will show your gf you can be entrusted, but also get your gf closer to your roommates. If your gf and your room mates became friends, it will be less likely to get worry. This is a simplest method and I think it will be effective.

Tell her about your convenience situation. Ask her to help you find a equal or better place and you will agree to move out. Just ask her to please trust you and tell her she can drop by as often as she would like. Ask your roomies to become her friend too so she will feel better about the situation. Good luck. By the way, my bf used to be roomies with 2 other girls. I am ok with it because I know the two other girls and everything is fine.

'i would tell u the same thing.. move out dude..would u like it if she moved in w 3guys? i dont think so..'

If I were in that situation I think I'd probably move out if my gf asked me to do it and I'd like to think that she'd do the same for me if I made a similar request. Living with one member of the opposite sex that has been a friend since childhood is one thing, living with 3 potentially flirtatious females you and your gf hardly know is another. Good luck with that.

What would you do if she lived in a house with three other guys? Wouldnt you want her to do the same or do you trust her enough an let her live there?

I can see her concern in all reality. You need to assure her to trust you. If she won't budge then shes just too jealous and immature to deal with it. Make the choice

Tell her that she's your girlfriend and you would never do anything to hurt her. This is just a temporary situation that happens to work and she's in no danger of losing you.
