If this did actually happen the reason is not God this person who did this was probably released after a long time in prison for murder or rape of another child we the people felt we could not kill him even though in the bible it says send them to me all murders and rapist the person that did this is too blame and the people that let him live if they catch him. I pray they will send them to the lord and your child is on the right hand of God and he asks what is your opinion of what I should do to this individual.

You say you are a good believer (hypothetically) but are you a Christian. You say you prayed everyday, but did your prayers reach Heaven, Not if you don't know Jesus as Lord and Saviour. You say you worshiped and went to church, but did you go to a Bible believing church,. did you go to church just to get something from God(wrong reason to go to Church) How do you know this hand is your child's hand. How about this True Story; A lady's son 5 years old was killed by a drive by shooter. The man was caught and spent 4 years in prison. One day he got out and went to a Prayer Meeting and give his heart and life to Jesus. As he stood at the front of the church a hush came over the crowd, the pianist got up and came over to the man. The man was about 6 ft tall the lady was only about 5 ft. She reached up and pulled his face to hers and kissed him on the check. She said, I love you and God does to. This man was the man who had kill her son.

I'm an atheist...So It wouldn't change my beliefs..but i would probably have a nervous break down.
I'd go insane. I love Children and if this were to happen I would do everything in my power to find the people/person responsible and make sure that their life were a living hell after wards.
But I don't believe in God.
But if you do don't let what I say change your mind. I hear faith can be a strong thing.
Some people are sick and twisted. And find pleasure in hurting others. We all have free will. Free will to hurt and help who we want.

Non-hypothetically speaking, because things oftentimes don't go the way we want, does this mean that God doesn't exist? Does it mean he spoils us? No, it means that there are disappointments in life, and pains, and trials, and we turn to God for guidance and comfort. Where would we be, and what kind of strength and character could we ever cultivate, if the entire world was padded, safe, and totally coddling to us? We'd be spoiled little weenies, for sure, totally weak and selfish.

There have been many famous instances when a child's death cause a short non-belief in god. For instance President Perice. After he won the election his child died. When it came for him to swear in he did it on the concision because he did not believe in god he said. The presidents before him did it on the bibles as did the presidents after him.

Bad things happen to good, because of sin a/k/a Satan's children.
Besides the Bible says; Ro 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Ro 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Yes ,I would also believe in the Devil. Just because God didn't give you what you prayed for doesn't mean he has forsaken us .It just means he said NO. He has a different plan.

As hard as it would be to accept, you shouldn't lose your faith. Because if you did, then you would have to think that every other family in the world who had something bad happen to them deserved it in God's eyes.
