Maw must be an ex-member of the Chldren of God. Ol' Moses David didn't worry too much about girls gittin' married; but he did worry big time if they weren't gittin' "close to God" -- by which he meant Making Whoopie -- by the time they were halfway into puberty. (1st link below) And most likely, Maw would have watched her defloration, her First Communion, with motherly pride. (2nd link: Davidito's maw watched; and he was only 11)
