I think when it comes to war all believers (of all religions) and non-believers are alike. War has got nothing to do with religion. It's just the nature of (most) humans to fight like animals, and why not? man is a civilized social animal, but still an animal at heart until he/she makes a conscious (excuse my spelling) to understand himself and mold himself/herself into a human. Only a small percent of people live (or atleast try to live) like humans. Rest are all animals like me **wink www.peta.org

People are rallying around their religion as part of an ethnic identity. Ethnic groups who want to have their laws and living conditions enshrined into law in their own state are fighting over territory.
The same as any other war.

Taking a life is allowed in order to save a life
War is allowed in order to save a people
Do we save a people who target civilians and use them as shields, or a people who does its best to avoid civilian casualties?
Do we save a people who morn all casualties of war or for a people who rejoice and dance at civilian deaths?
