My lab has pano. I will not use Rimidill. I give her vitamin c and a childrens aspirin when it gets bad. Has anyone found something that really works well until they grow out of it?

Do not give anything. It is a self-limiting condition....it goes away on it's own. If you give medication, you are only masking the pain, and then when it wears off, the dog will be in more pain. It causes no problems long term. IF the dog wants to do something, let it. If it doesn't want to do anything, don't make it.

I have had 7 dogs over the years with Pano, and they were all fine while they had it. I have had friends that were given Steroids for their dogs, and I do not agree with that. You are asking for more problems with side effects than with the condition itself!!!!
