No but I think I would feel a bit more confident. I'd have everything done if I could

I had cosmetic surgery as a child, I had a mole that started growing out of control on my face, and I had to have it removed. If I had it done the normal way I would have had a huge and permanent scar. My parents opted to have a plastic surgeon do the job, and he managed to pull the skin around to hide the scar in the curve of my nostril. I have to say that if anyone is willing to go through the ordeal of having the skin peeled off of thier face, and re-attached somplace else, they probably have good reasons for doing so.

I would have literally been scarred for life if my parents hadn't chosen this option, and I am glad that they did (even being for vanity purposes). How one looks can very much affect how one feels about oneself.

Oh, and incidentally I was awake for the surgery, and it was a wonderfully eye-opening experience for me. I actually found the whole skin-peeling experience interesting and not gross at all. It was a painful recovery though.

possibly if I had too much money, but on the other hand would it not be better to use all that extra money to do some good in this world, and maybe just stick to cosmetic's to improve your appearence, unless of course you have a real problem then it may be justified.

I wouldn't mind changing my nose but i don't think that i would ever get it done i think i would have it done for medical purposes rather than vanity. Its all personal choice.

I think probably the majority get it done for cosmetic purposes.
