normally atheists respect the feelings of others where as people belonging to religions which preach religion sling mud on others and say their followers only reserved seats in the heaven and other would not get salvation

The atheist is the more tolerant. A follower of a certain religion will believe that his own religion is the best/only religion to have faith in, thus creating for himself "tunnel vision". The reason for this is simple, religion is all about irrational belief ( not backed up by facts) so if someone believes something it must be true, otherwise his whole belief would be undermined.
An atheist has more tolerance because he just doesn't care either way, he just thinks people are silly to believe anything irrational at all.

From what I've seen on YA, the atheists are the most intolerant, rude, disrespectful and downright nasty toward believers of any religions, especially christians.

atheists are much more tolerant.

No one who believes in the first commandment can claim to be tolerant. The 1st alone is a statement of intolerance.

Y'know with all the "hate Christians" postings on this board, it amazes me that you think atheists normally respect others.

Sure, some do. Many do. Normally? nope.
