Is it? Have you ever tried eating an ice cream cone with a spoon?
There are cultural customs, my friend, that are not savage at all if you look at them. People who regularily eat their meals with their hand do so with one hand only, which is reserved for specific functions. The other hand is used for other functions. In their society, it works. So what's your problem?

which is more savage? eating with your hands or kicking your pregnant girlfriend in the stomach? You have a seriously screwed up sense of what is and isn't savage.

There are "finger foods" such as pizza, hot dogs and hamburgers which are awkward to eat with a knife and fork. Of course, I don't know too many people who would be willing to try eating soup with their hands. Potato chips would be impossible to eat with utensils. So, no it isn't savage.

It depends on where you are and what you eat. I had never eaten fries with my hands until I moved to the US 16 years ago. In Morocco, people eat Couscous with their hands. I think it is highly cultural in essence. Sometimes, you just do because it is practical.

Well, we don't eat all our food with our hands. And I would hope that people would wash their hands before eating. Because that's gross to eat with dirty hands.

Certain foods aren't made for utencils. Chicken Drumsticks, wings and nuggets(natural handle), Sandwiches, Ice cream cones :P, how do you eat an ice cream cone with a knife and fork?

Tacos and burritos too.

Certain foods are made for utencils like Satads, Steak, Casserole, etc..

I take it you were born with a fork and knife in your hands. Never read history, and always assumed that the knife and fork were ceated by the almighty. Grow up, and try it, you might like it. I'd start out with corn on the cob, or a Chicken Leg.
