Lots of people I know brush their teeth as soon as they wake up, just to get the gross taste out of their mouth. But I think it makes way more sense to brush after you eat breakfast, because the whole point is to get the little food bits that are stuck in your teeth out. I brush after breakfast.

Brush before breakfast to eliminate some bacteria that may begin to find your mouth too comfortable to reside in and multiply, ordinarily they may not cause any problems but if they increase beyond a certain amount they could be deleterious(harmful). After that initial cleaning before breakfast you can start piling up the microbes again and get the bunch flushed by your night brushing
If you decide to brush after breakfast fine by me but this could be impracticable???.Ideally you should brush after every meal and after tasting some of those excessively sugary this also is a tall order.

Well, the reason for brushing your teeth is to take out all the food particles that can cause cavities. So, the most logical time to do so is after a meal. The only reason people brush in the morning, in my opinion, is to take the bad breath or the "early morning cotton", but I think it can be solved with mouth wash and tongue scraper.

Dentists recommend brushing after every meal. Brushing morning and night - after eating, is what I do.

After breakfast to dislodge any plaque or bacteria and using dental tape to clean between teeth is also recommended.
