Education is Money

2006-08-06 03:39:55 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 1 0

The answer depends on what you mean by "more important".

That said, social science research shows that on average, people with higher education make more money. Of course, there will be the occasional case of someone dropping out of college and becoming a millionaire (e.g. Bill Gates), but it would be naive for most people to think that they are the next Bill Gates.

So it's best to look at averages. And on average, the more education, the more money. (Here, all graduate degrees should be considered similar. That is, a PhD does not necessarily mean more money than an MBA, but a PhD or MBA likely means more money than a BA on average.)

Money is not more important than education. In order to have a good career you need to have a good education. Without an education you will not get very far in life. So therefore you need an education in order to have money.

No, because if you don't have an education, you can soon lose all of your money. You would need to know how not to that. Also, don't just say, "I'll hire an accountant", who is going to watch the accountant? You have heard the phrase, "A fool and his money are soon parted"? That is exactly what is meant.

Sure is. All my pals who got 'higher education' are still struggling while those who went right to work are well-off, two of them multimillionaires.
