Well, because "macro-evolution" has never been observed, never been recorded, and never been shown. you don't have to be a "Christian" to not believe that, you just have to think a little.
As for "micro-evolution" of course that occurs--we've seen it.

Because evolutionists have no solid evidence that evolution is a fact. Just because as they claim humans and monkeys share a common ancestory doesnt make evolution true. Saying sharing a common ancestory is just like assuming thats no evidence.
Secondly you cannot be a christian and an evolutionist at the same time because the bible never talks about evolution. And if you insist well God doesnt approve of it. You can deny God and go for the theory of evolution.
Another point >> if evolutionists can tell me who made them i would probably believe in their other theory on cosmology. The fail to understand that the intelligent events and intelligent creation cannot come from nothing. But from a supernatural and more intelligent being.

Thank You!!!!!!!
I ask this question all the time. It's not an either-or proposition. You can be a Christian AND believe in evolution. Not everything has to be a mystery. Evolution is a tool of God's, nothing more. In fact, with a little imagination, Genesis can be read as supporting evolution, not contradicting it.

Christian do not think evolution is false, but have full assurance that the evolutionist faith is false. One may believe in Christ, the other believe in evolution; so both have faith in a certain concept. The evolutionists believe in evolution and do not prove it to be a correct theory, which throw doubts in the heart of those people believing in God.
God created every thing in 6 days, and He rested on the seventh day. What does that tell you? If God is the creator, then why did it take Him 6 days to create every thing and why should He rest? All He has to do is say the word and why rest? He is God that never get tired and never goes to sleep. The only thing evolutionists want to do is to remove God out of their way. They don't want to hear his name; not because there is no God and the theory of evolution is correct! No, but because they hate God; they don't want him in their life and they don't have any tangible prove of his nonexistence. There is no man on this planet that can say there is no God. To be that Man is to be greater than God Himself.
In addition, false evolutionists disregard that the big bang theory must include information involvement at the very instant the big bang occurrence. That information is necessary for the whole universe to form itself in accordance with this important element, because only now we begin to understand the intelligence behind the big bang theory. The question regarding where that information came from at the that instant of explosion is not questioned by the evolutionists. Information is a substance that requires the existence of a mind that contains every bit of knowledge behind the creation. Evolutionists go to random and chance principal which when it truly weighed renders every evolutionist act out of faith and not knowledge; faith in not believing in God.

Because they are ill-educated or simply ignorant.
Some people, and I'm betting they've already answered in this manner, will say that micro-evolution happens but deny macro-evolution. Idiotic nonsense. From micro, comes macro. No denying it.
After all, Macro-evolution has been observed. No matter how much they yell, stamp thier feet, plug thier ears and say "is not! is not!".
Which is the usual reaction that these simpletons have when faced with actual science.

Biblically speaking, there's no way of knowing just how long a "day" is for God, since He is a timeless being, no beginning, no end, a "day" could have been eons. IF evolution did occur, it's only because God wanted it that way. Dinosaur fossil records don't lie, there was an ancient form of life at one time, only God knows why, it could have been part of the creation process to get where we are now, one day when I meet Him, I'll try to remember to ask.

If a Christian believes Genesis is not being figurative, then they can't believe in evolution because they believe God created the earth in a week :)

I believe that God created upon this earth PRIOR TO Genesis 1:1-31, 2:1-3.
I believe God destroyed all prior creation (Gen.1:2) to bring forth man created in God's likeness (Gen.1:26), with an UNBROKEN lineage beginning with Adam.
