How bout making a home made fruit salad, you know, orange, apples, melon, bananas and grapes, with a slash of fresh orange juice, keep this in the fridge, it last about a week or so and whenever you want a smoothie just add a nice amount with some natural yogurt and either a dash of sugar or artificial sweetna, it is very healthy, very easy and yummy.(if you have to do the vanilla ice cream and dime bar then try, a banana, ice cream and milk, or vanilla ice cream and a crunchie bar, yummy but not so healthy)

Do you like tofu? Probably not! Neither do I, but in these recipes, you can't taste it and it is very good for you!
Base: 40 - 50 gm. fresh tofu;
125 -200 ml. of soy milk or probiotic Yoghurt milk
A handful of pumpkin or sesame or sunflower seeds.
Variants: any fruit; frozen is o.k. but fresh is better. OR coconut flakes. OR Over 75% cacao black chocolate. OR mix?
Try to limit the choice of variants to 3 maximum.
Put all ingredients in the blender and enjoy! They are yummy. If you want a less thick version, add 200 ml. of orange or mango juice.
You're never too young to get into healthy eating and if you like vanilla so much, add a vanilla pod or some vanilla essence as used for making cakes to it!
Hope you like it!

I like a whole chocolate flavoured "mini milk" ice-cream lolly blended with a peeled banana.

Give it a go! Also if you want fruit smoothies try "Gillian Mackeith's" recipe book.

I usually just make stuff on my own...I do not like mixing milk in them, but I usually use fresh fruits and ice, to thin it out, I use a little water, and add splenda. My kids love it and they are a little slushy.
