You're an idiot! Just for your information, they will investigate further to make sure what you told them was the truth. When they find out what kind of creep your are, they will DECREASE your credit line as easy as they increase it!

$12,500

I just paid the thing off every month like a good customer. Creditors will raise limits in order to induce more spending from the customer and elicit interest rates charges.

I would be careful with that limit though. If you overcharge and can't pay the companies will charge a default rate of like 32% if I remember my cardholder agreement right.

good for you with a 15k limit. if your are late once or go wild with that it will be cut dramatically.
but i have 15k with capital 1
10k with target visa
10k with chase
10k with citi.
how i got it was being carefull by not charging them up. i owe 3k on all of them. i used to have 11k on credit cards all were maxed out. soon as they were pd down they up'd the limit. know i am carefull not the fall in that trap

Mine is $7,000. Washington Mutual offered 0% interest on balance transfers for a year. I transferred 2 balances from high interest cards and I don't use the WaMu card.

My Chase limit is $5000. 0% interest for a year.

Congrats on your card! I hope you are still laughing in a year.

I've got one for a couple grand, but I don't like to use it. My friend just got one for 10K yesterday in the mail. He's able to get a fairly brand new car on it if he wants to.
