For a stand-alone player-recorder, Lite-On is a
industry leader. The LV-5006 will record all formats. For burning on computer , try Pioneer or
Emprex.

A DVD recorder as in a standalone, or a computer drive?
If a computer drive, then I recommend the BenQ 1640.

I have played with a bunch and Toshiba's new model is the way to go. It has a 160gb hard drive making it very flexible.

solid success, maximum classic Motorola DVR's that come which contain your cable are not set as much as apply the output plugs for DVDR. maximum do no longer even have them under pressure. specific, you ought to work out the plugs at the back of your DVR, yet they do no longer artwork. that's a gimmick and a rather awful one in case you asked me.

With Philips you can't go wrong. My personal favourite the DVDR3390/37 model.
