Wow, nobody does. How sad. Remember when America was loved? When it symbolized sanity and justice and freedom? Remember when they had to shut down London when President Clinton visited there because of millions of people coming to greet him and wave American flags? When Bush went there they had to shut it down, too, but because of angry mobs burning the American flag and chanting hatred for America. People do not like bullies, whether they are on the school yard or in international affairs.

What does it matter? Why are some people so concerned about being liked? The USA government only real job is to look out for the best interests of the USA. That might mean helping out another country, we sure give away enough money. To much . We will be better off if the USA looks after the USA first.

A number of countries still like the U.S., although the United States abroad does have a few image problems that are not necessarily related to our foreign policy.

One that comes to mind is Japan. While views vary among individual Japanese about the U.S. the government recognizes that Japan's economy is very intertwined with ours. Their industry recognizes the American work ethic, and--while American car companies are closing plants and laying off workers--Japanese car companies are building assembly plants in the U.S. and hiring.

Canadians, by and large, like the U.S., although there is a long-standing concern in Canada that the North American continent is excessively dominated by the U.S.

In Africa several countries like the U.S., including Liberia, which was founded by freed American slaves.

In Europe America's best friends are the former Soviet satellite countries, especially Poland, but also Hungary and Romania, and some former Soviet republics also like us.

In Vietnam there is a growing "liking" for the United States, as many Vietnamese remember not everything we did there was bad--in fact we helped a lot of people in our 11-plus years in that war.

You have to realize that a country "liking" us may depend on several factors, ranging from economic dependency to the image projected by individual Americans traveling abroad. When we travel we need to remember to be good guests. We also need to show respect for people and their countries.

If the question is which country still likes the USA, then the answer would be: Israel (at least its media & the political party called Meretz, which, in my opinion, should be outlawed), Albania, Muslimanija (the Muslim part of Bosnia Herzegovina), Japan (one of the worst enemies of the USA in WW2) and the UK (as for now, when an inteligent king-ether Prince William or Prince Harry) comes to power, then the UK will not be included. Oh, I forgot: Also the "colour" regimes (in Georgia, the Ukreine and Moldova), but it is the regimes-not the peoples.

Israel, India, Indonesia,Canada, China and Japan. They like the billions we send them in tax payer cash.
They also own most of the USA debt caused by Republicans.
GW Bush has ran up more debt for every American than all of the last ten Presidents added. BTW, these countrys also love the high paying jobs the Republicans gave them. Look at the numbers of jobs lost in the past 6 years under Republicans.

If you have in mind the relationship between people of USA and other countries, I should say all countries like the American people and vice versa. But if your thought pertains to relationship between governments, there are some countries deeply hurt by suicidal American foreign policy and they obviously hate USA! Nonetheless, at the end of the day, people of all countries should unite and like each other sooner or later as part of the global village!
