After asking a few questions, it's quite obvious to me that no one on this website is going to change their minds. Athesists still think Christians are crazy, Christians still think Athesists are crazy. Atheists still deny the existence of divine force, while Christians still deny the possibility of humans being random chance. While i am Christian, i think these constant arguements that go no where should end.

I agree that the ARGUING should stop and stop NOW! I do however believe that there can be intelligent converstions discussing ones personal beliefs and such. As a Christian, you know that it is your responsibility to discuss your faith with those who do not believe, however if they choose not to believe then we are to NOT ARGUE with them and leave them be. NOWHERE in the bible did you see Jesus or ANY of the apostles arguing to convert someone and this is why I believe that unfortunately ALOT of the blame of the arguing is the CHRISTIANS fault. It's time we read the bible and put into action what it says. Actions speak louder than words. If someone refuses to believe then Jesus told the apostles to "Shake the dust from your feet" and move on. Still love them, still pray (but don't tell them that because that will only cause more anger), and move on. Read chapter 17 in the book of Acts starting in verse 15 and go to the end and you will see a good example of Paul discussing Christianity with some philosophers and epicureans of the time at Mars Hill in Athens. After them saying "we will hear you again later concerning this matter", it said he departed and "certain men" believed. So you are correct, NEVER argue, but also NEVER give up and when it seems like an argument is going to start then "depart from among them". This way you done what you were called to do and they can go in Peace. I have had many INTELLIGENT conversations with many who called themselves "atheists" only to find out that they were not atheists at all but AGNOSTIC. They are different you know. Atheists DO NOT believe and Agnostics "arent sure" or are "undecided". Just look up the 2 words in the dictionary and you will see the difference. Peace to you and evryone.

People can only come to comprehend what they do not understand by questioning. If you take this away, a lot of ignorance will come of it. It is not trying to convert one another, at least not on my part, but trying to make other people understand where I am coming from. I understand you think that is atheist denial of a god, but even in that comment you have started an argument. It's not about changing people's minds, it's about making humans understand and possibly respect.
And of course, you did leave out the Wiccans, Satanists, Jews, Hindus, and etc. as was mentioned above, but I do not think there is a large problem with that. It is usually the Atheists and Christians who clash minds more than the other groups. This is not me saying the other religions do not matter.

You have it wrong. We atheists do not deny the existence of a divine force. You cannot deny what does not exist. You deny something that you want to refute.
Denial means something does exist and you dismiss it.
Divine power does not exist. At all. Nor do gods exist.
I am not required to deny what does not exist. Nor will I.
So no, I do not agree to disagree.

The black and white of christianity vs atheism is a shallow approach to religion. There are actually some very spiritual concepts being brought here to this site. Your curiosity must guide you.

You are missing a lot of others, like satanists, Agnostic, Wicca, mystics, Jewish and probably a lot more. Why is it always Atheists and Christians are the only ones to disagree?

not true,

at the very least there has been a lot of understanding for the regulars here whove been here since march that ive talked to

we now see one another as actual people with intelligence and thoughts and feelings

connections are made daily

the goal really isn't to convert one another or disconvert, that wont happen here,

but ive seen a lot of people as crazy who now i dont think of as crazy but think of now as friends,

so we have agreed to disagreed

You had to observe the interaction here to realize these talking points and responses have been hashed over a billion times by people all over?

These arguments in one form or another have been around since the beginning of society and it is unlikely to change now.

I'm an Agnostic, and I agree with you. I know that nothing anyone can say here is going to shock me into finding religion.
