i made a big turkey dinner yesterday, with all the fixings and 3 homemade pies. my son is leaving for iraq next week for a whole year. so i invited all my relatives over, put the air conditioner on full blast and we had a thanksgiving dinner ........... in august :-)

Oh yes, turkey is a main stay for our household. My husband likes to grill it in the summer with corn on the cob. Soooo gooood!

Sure. It's like having breakfast for dinner. Nice to have something that's out of the ordinary, for a change.

yep occasionally I roast a turkey in the summer and then do a complete meal with stuffing, mashed potatos, etc...........Not as elaborate as Thanksgiving but still quite good. We usually do it when it rains alot and we cant get out.

We love it all year long. It has been extremely hot here in the northeast. I make Roasted turkey when temps get Little cooler.

i would eat turkey everyday but its so hot latley i dont wanna open my oven turkey is the ultimate comfort food especially when combined with mashed potatoes and gravy and corn on the cob,im really hungry.....
