You're way off!
You're right prayer is superstition but only because superstition is belief, the belief in anything and usually related to as non-existent or erstwhile or even scientific. But religion is to take belief to the next level worship, and if your up to the truth the priest aren't telling you then taking that even higher; the ultimate power of revelation and true now scientifically legitimate attainment. For this is supposed to be their job and they aren't going to put themselves out of work. Not that they're doing it. That's the problem with people like you expecting prayer to work you don't include all of this. That's why we are to use true established documentation like Joan of Arc, of King Solomon. And you know what happened to her. No he does not manifest in this world to us that does not mean he can't. You people act like it was some kind of norm or constant instead of scientifically square, legitimate, or a potentiality. If you took six months writing and thinking out the awesome complexity of such an attainment you'd understand the true nature of what you're out to defame. And probably explain everything from the laying on of hands to the occult. All of these things are part of the world around us and God is simply avoiding his involvement in the proliferation and or use turning to abuse, and or at least that becoming a simple matter.

ive seen that video before..... its great.
It also displays it in a child like manner. I will be great to show my kids when they are older, if they have been infected with the beleif in prayer.
Meditation however i feel is a good thing. Is there some conection between prayer and meditation? I think so. Its just with prayer it often times comes with dogma behind it. And that is destructive.
in my opinion anyway

First, it matters not what others believe to you. Prayer or chanting is a means not of simply ask 'God" to assist, but also a means to focus your own powers. A crystal ball is used by a fortune teller to focus, as a swinging watch is used by a hypnotist to cause you to focus.. You shred people's beliefs to what purpose. That site might be attractive to you, but what do old people gain by having a life-time of belief shattered, or a troubled teen seeking consolation in prayer? Think about others rather than polemics

Criticizing prayer without knowing its nature is supertitious.
Praying to imaginary gods for earthly benefits is superstitious.
Praying for nothing in perilous situations is superstitious.
Blindly imitating others to perform mystic rituals is supertitious.
Learning Prayer through the life and teachings of the Manifestations of God such as Christ, Muhammad, Baha'u'llah... is not superstitious. Because Prayer in this spiritual submission bestows on us guidance, strength, faith to perform sacrificial acts benificial to our soul and to the advancement of mankind.
Yes, seek first the Divine Educator and let Him teach you praying, meditating and serving mankind.

I got 6 sixes!!!! I DID!!!

Man the guy in this video has slow talkers disease! He also ruined this video by being condescending in tone. Putting the religious people down is not a good way to help convert them from religion. (e.g. "A normal and intelligent person wouldn't think that way")

It depends if you pray to god or not.

Praying is just a hope, but I agree there is no point in asking any God for the answer.

Yes, praying is superstitious. I knew that. Just like rubbing your lucky rabbit's foot when you buy your lotto ticket.
