Can we, in the modern world, just all get along? Shouldn't the benefits of modern medicine and technologies like the internet give us an everlasting peace, to be in service and excellence to one another?

As an example of communication, the internet has been found to have as many problems as solutions. There is anonymity behind the keyboard and this is causing a wide range of human behaviours from the good, the bad, the ugly. Modern technology is not all its cracked up to be. On the other hand, we do not want to revert to another time. Keeping each individual accountable is the only answer...personal responsibility.

We will ,Soon, but modern medicine and things of this earth will have nothing to do with it. If you know Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, you will be in Glory where there is everlasting peace. If you don't know Jesus, the anti-Christ will be here to give you false peace, But Beware, this peace will only last for 3 1/2 years then all hell is going to break lose. I'm glad I will be with Jesus

Yes in theory we should be able to get along; in practice.. it is doubtful. In a modern world we should be past racism, prejudice, discrimination. Technology is a wonderful tool, I feel honored to work in an area of advancing science but not everyone feels that way. Some still see science as evil and threatening and until that social perception is changed I don't think everyone getting along is possible.

I believe we should be able to get along. I like to think that I get along with most everyone I meet. There is more in the world that brings us as human beings together than ever before. We should all have a common cause to make the world a better place, if everyone would set aside their prejudice. Excellent question :)

I've noticed that there are tensions between neighbours, then from small town to small town, then state to state, then country to country. It seems it is our destiny to not trust anyone at all regardless of race or religion.
I think times truely are worse today than ever before because the "7 Deadly Sins" are now acceptable, or possibly even goals. Keep the people unhappy and they will continue to buy things in a search for happiness, thus we are doomed to be miserable and looking for someone to blame.

Yes we all can get along. Keep following your own scriptures. Stop interpreting the verses Book of Revelation literally for destruction and killings of Jews and Muslims. I started reading the Book of Revelation and will comment when finished.

you're absolutely right, but everything could be used in both, good and bad ways, for example, a knife could be used to cut and make food but it could also be used to kill people, so all of this modern medicine and technologies and also Internet are unfortunately being used the wrong way
