well when new people come to america they r afraid because they dont know anyone here yet but once u get settled in an meet new people there r some that r friendly an some r not it depends on who u talk to an it depends on who u hang with an be friends with an it depends on u who u can trust an who u can not trust it depends on u

what is the question here? we always fear the unknown but once we face it fear decimates. unknown can be anything, like in your case it was a place. we all need to overcome our fears as much as is possible.
