Looking for a folding bicycle that works well. Has anyone seen such a thing and do you know who makes it or where to get it? thanks!

Dahon is probably the leader in folding bikes. Giant also makes one called the Halfway, w hich I own and like very much. There is also a British and a German folding bike, but they are somewhat expensive. I think Birdie is the German one. Trek also makes one that I believe is designed by Dahon. Dahon's prices range from around 350 to 2000 dollars. Giant's Halfway is around 450.
