Do you base this on Leviticus 18:22's use of the word abomination? What about Leviticus 11:9-12 which says eating shrimp is an abomination? Do you believe Jesus did away with the old laws? If so, does this mean homosexuality is no longer an abomination?

If you tell me these were dietary laws that were there when people were in the desert and quote to me Matthew 15 where Jesus reversed the dietary restrictions, did something change in food preparation when Jesus was alive? Did they get ovens and stoves and were able to properly cook the shrimp?
See, if it was just a rule about food preparation, it wouldn't make sense for Jesus to reverse it, would it?

I don't find it surprising that the only answers you seem to have gotten from the intended target of your question does nothing more than to direct you to scripture. The questions you have posed are pretty self-explanatory and one should be able to answer them without relying a book.

You're not that guy living in Missouri , married to his horse and donkey are you? Are you just trying to soften us up on the abominations of homo, murder, surfeiting, etc.,etc, so you can get out of your lonely closet and pick up a few more friends?
Yes the ten commandments and the old testament rules are good for us, and yes some rules were changed or worked around. If something is causing our brother to sin, (who thinks that whatever is a sin) then we shouldn't do it in front of him. We should do it discretely at home between ourselves and God. Plus if we do not know whether it is a sin or not then we should not do it until we find out for sure.
We may do anything but not all that we do is good for us.
I may not judge you, because if I do I run the risk of being 10 times as worse as I 'think' that you are.
Christians may judge other Christians though if after what they are doing is obviously distracting from the fact of the Good News of Christ. Jesus is either who He says He is or the biggest liar of all time. We have been reconciled to God through Jesus (notice the past tense of reconciled). All we have to do is accept/reject it.
If good and bad did not come from infinity then what's love got to do with anything or hate for that matter? You loving me might probably be sending questions through Yahoo Answers, and me loving you might mean cutting off your head and drinking your blood. Good and Bad have to come from an infinite source. Love, hate have to come from an infinate source. There are no sensible rules that could contain them.

You are a fool if you really can read witch i now doubt you can and if you can you are reading one of those new age bibles read the king James get the whole meaning of the conversation or just shut up you are obviously one of which you are asking the question about. when it sead no woman wear the clothing of a man or know man take on a women's dress this in the original manuscripts(remember that men ware what looked like a dress then) meant to take on the other sex's position in a sexual act but you have to take it back to the original meaning but I feel you won,t because you don't want to know the truth you asked for.

Do you think in the couple thousand years between Lev and Matt. they learned to boil water and properly cook shrimp? Not being funny, just wondering? We have learned to properly raise pork that you can't get worms from it (Tryckelsomething) unless your in a country that doesn't monitor the feeding of pigs and still feed them from the sewer.
Peter was told to eat with the Gentiles in Acts. That was a big deal for Jewish people back then I think.

Shrimp and pork we have learned to appropriately cook, I think homosexuality is a sin.
I have a lesbian daughter, and I disagree with her lifestyle. But I think the world of them and love her and her life mate. They know how I believe and respect me, so I try my best to respect the, and listen to their side.
Not easy in the bible belt when so many tell me I should wash my hands of them both. Jesus wouldn't leave them behind, and neither will I.

Yes. Homosexuality is still a sin. God created sex to be used by a married man and his wife. Therefore any sex outside of marriage is a sin.

I Corinthians 6:9 Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral, nor the idolaters, nor the male prostitutes, nor the sexual offenders.

The "old law" is found in the old testament. I believe Jesus came and freed us from the old law. But sexual sin is still sexual sin.

First, I don't know if lesbianism is a sin or not, so I do not say that it is. Although you prove your point quite well I must mention that common sense is a factor when trying to translate the meanings behind the words in the bible. Common sense tells you that he made a man and a woman. So, man and woman seems to be the natural order of things. Wouldn't he have made two women? wouldn't he have made it possible for women to reproduce without men? which thus says, it's not natural. I'm not saying it's wrong. I'm not saying anyone is going to hell. I'm saying God didn't mean for lesbianism to be a natural part of existence.

1 Corinthians 6:9 (Whole Chapter)
Do you not know that the unrighteous and the wrongdoers will not inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived (misled): neither the impure and immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor those who participate in homosexuality. I can never agrue with the Bible.

All you would really have to do is boil the shirmp alive, then it should be safe to eat, you don't need a stove to make water boil. Also, homosexuality is NOT a sin and never shall be one, regardless of what any fictionous book says.

reinterated in the greek scriptures,read duh bible;
(1 Corinthians 6:9-11) 9 What! Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, 10 nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God’s kingdom. 11 And yet that is what some of YOU were. But YOU have been washed clean, but YOU have been sanctified, but YOU have been declared righteous in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God.

God is the same yest, today and tmr. if He said it was an abomination, it will always be an abomination. God does not change. homosexuality is a perverse and abominably disgusting act. if God did not spare sodom and gomorrah, He will not spare those of you who dispise the Lord and His instructions by engaging in this detestably irritating act of satanic sexuality.
