Feeding them, clothing them, driving them to soccer, ballet, karate, trumpet lessons, doing their laundry, going to school for Parent/teacher conferences, giving them rules that keep them safe, talking to them about things that bother them, giving them insight to things they have experience with, making them a birthday cake on their birthday, giving them the last piece of steak at dinner when they really would like it for themselves, taking them to the doctor, not allowing them to hang around the delinquent kid down the street, video taping their school play, putting a band-aid on their cut up knee and of course........
Hugs and kisses.

first, the parents really need to love one another and never fear letting the children see expressions of love. This creates a home that leaves the children with a feeling of security.
Always let the children know that you are there for them.Don't let other people boss them around but get their side of any situations that arise and try to trust your children. Encourage an honest and open relationship so that they feel they can come to you with any problem. Encourage them to learn independence and to find areas of interest to them where they can feel proud of their achievements. Spend time with them and love them because it goes faster than you can believe. good luck

If they're good parents it's in everything they do and everything the say. Good parents don't know how NOT to let their kids know they love them. For me showing my daughter I love her is easier than breathing.

By hugging & kissing them. By letting them know at every opportunity that they are loved and wanted. By giving them opportunities to explore life & grow & mature in a loving and supportive home. By always being there for them. By providing the basics of life....proper nutrition, clothing & shelter.

I tell my kids every day - I smile at them (can't help it - I love them) I hug them, I laff with them and share with them. My kids are all teens now and they go through their ups and downs with me. They also know I love them because I discipline them. Believe it or not - kids need stucture and discipline - no matter how they say they hate the rules, and break them sometimes, they know you love them because of it. (discipline in the scense of fairness, dialogue, setting rules and boundaries and sticking to them etc - not physical or emotional - that's abuse). I also encourage my kids to talk about anything about our rules that bothers them and we work it out - but not always to their liking LOL.

Tell them ALL day everyday! Give them lots of hugs and kisses! You shouldn't have to buy them things to let them know but if you want to go for it and tell them you did it b/c you love them and you just wanted to show it! They'll thank you for it someday

I give tons of hugs. I ask about their day and what they think and how they feel about things. I talk with them as they are not my kid but a human. I only scold them when they've done something really wrong and reason with them on if-fy stuffs.

Parents show their love by being there for their children and supporting them in everything. Feeding and clothing them and helping them be proud of who they are.
