Would you allow a dirty, bearded white guy wearing sandals with dirty feet to date your daughter.?

jesus would have been such a guy were you to go back to his area. Imagine a long hair hippy looking guy wearing sandals with dirty feet who claimned to be the son of god arriving at your door to pick your daughter u[p. be honest about this>

Hippie, absolutely, I strive to be one myself. But the moment he claimed to be the son of God, yeah I'd have to admit I'd probably shove those sandals right up his *bleep* and take out a restraining order.

If in our world today we lived without plumbing, and the only means of transportation was our feet , horses, or mules, than possibly Mom, Dad and Daughter, would not be the most well groomed family either.
Now commonly in our world today there are not a lot of good reasons to me that a young man should come to my home and pick up my daughter dirty.
If I would have had a daughter.... NO she would not have been allowed to date someone dirty , but she would also have been taught a persons appearance doesn't necessarily mean that person isn't intelligent , kind of heart, or of value as a human being.
Added comment to this...My son is a very well groomed professional, his job requires that. He has friends who are the bearded, long haired, young men. Highly educated, in fields where they are making lots of money, but appearance is not needed for their work. Would they come to my house dirty and filthy, not ever, for they respect themselves and me. YES I would let anyone of THESE young men date my daughter.

Since we are all bikers and hippies, that is what my kids did date! of course they had a cowboy thrown in there every once in a while since we are from Texas. But they all knew who Jesus was, and not one claimed to be the son of God.
But there were several that my girls claimed could walk on water, they were so perfect!
I am so glad they are grown and married!

I'd assume that there must be something good about him if my daughter is dating him. I would probably ask him if he'd like to wash up before he takes my daughter out. There's probably a legitimate reason behind his disheveled appearance anyway.

Don't judge him by how he looks, deep down he could be an absolute godsend (No pun intended!) to your daughter, just the thing she needs & he could really look after her. I can understand your worry about his dress sense But try & get to know him then judge him!& If you are still worried then sit your daughter & talk about your dissproval of him.

Dirty bearded white guy? This doesn't describe Jesus.
-He wasn't white. As Jews, they have olive coloured skin.
-He washed His feet as was the custom.
-He didn't date either and had no children.

Back then, that was the normal look. Everybody looked like that! But for somebody to look like that 'today' he's gonna have to be pretty crazy/unique/hippie or whatever you wanna call it.
