I think Alan Schlesinger (R) is going to be our next Senator from Connecticut. General election voters aren't going to go for his 'Cut -N-Run' answer to the Iraq War. What do you think?

When Republicans call Lieberman, "A Democrat I could vote for", you know he is finished. As far as Republicans winning in November, it is going to surprise everyone when they find out how pissed-off the country is for what they have done to the country and the world.

I don't think most people fall for simple lines like "Cut-N-Run". Joe Lieberman has missed the boat on the Iraq (we should have learned from Vietnam) war. However, he is a good Senator and has done a good job for Connecticut. He may have to run as an Independent, but he should win.

Connecticut has one of the best senators in the whole senate. If they choose to replace him because of his stand on one issue they will be really missing out.

He's a lock if he wins the nomination. An independent has no chance because in November the voters will recognize that they can't split the Dems vote.

I think that nobody in CT is going to vote for a republican senator. Lamont will eventually win, if he wins on Tuesday.
