I assume that since you know you are bi-polar that you have been assessed as such and are most likely on some form of medication.
I know from my own experiences with Depression that the meds dont always work all of the time. Sometime they just don't have the effect that you wish they would. It is very hard to deal with because you think you're taking care of things but they're just not working ut.
The most important thing is to remember that you are not alone. There are people who care about you and want to be there for you. Let them into your life. I know it's hard but it's the best thing.
Go out with friends, spend a day away from your thoughts and see where that takes you.
Good Luck and I hope you feel better soon.

You need to see a doctor to deal with the bi-polar disorder. Once that is under control, continue with a counselor who can help you through any other issues you may be suffering from.
In the long run you have to choose to make your life better.
Fixing the medical side of your problem is not always easy but if you work with a doctor they can most times find a medication that will help you though. After that the emotional side you can get counseling for but in the long run it is up to you to decide to get better. A big part of it will be to make healthy decisions. Set goals and work toward them.
Best of Luck

The first question here is, are you on your meds? If not, get on your meds, otherwise you're prone to just "lose it." If you're on your meds and still miserable, get with your doctor ASAP and have him adjust your dosage. If you're only taking a mood stableizer, ask him to add an anti-depressant.
Now, if none of the above applies, if you are not under a doctor's care and not on medication, I'm telling you from experience, get some help. This is a dangerous disorder, and, unless properly treated, will, to be very blunt, kill you.
I've been bipolar all my life, and, every once in a while, get to thinking I don't need my drugs. I wind up in a psych ward every time. Help's availabel, go get it.

You need to go get some meds ASAP. Believe me I've seen the negative effects of being bi-polar. My wife is bi-polar so I know what can happen. She came within mere inches of committing suicide 'cause she refused to take her meds.

Are you already getting medical treatment? Do you have a good support system of friends and family? What are your likes and dislikes? Find something you really enjoy and really focus on it. Take your meds and communicate with others.

are you on anti depressants yet if not get on them, if youare stay on them. you have to stay on top of this. most people who suffers from bi-polar only take their meds just long enough to where they think they are doing great and thats when they mess up.
