to answer ahmed j: I believe it's very unlikely there is a concious spirit or whatever that created our universe. No one can look beyond the big bang. But even past that point there is no creator that could have had in mind to create human beings. I think humanity just has to learn to live with the knowlage that we will most probably never find out if there is a reason for our being here and that it is even most likely that there is no reason at all for our being here.Humaniy will evenually be wiped from the ourth just like the din's. But all that still is no reaon to start acting like animals, as if atheists and other non-beleivers would have no maral at all. Most atheists i know are people of very high moral.

YES. Humanity has to be free of religious doctrines NOW, if we want to survive. Religious doctrines have brought nothing but wars among humans.

Religious Doctrines .. uh well humans are humans if they see a shining star and if it comes down they will worship it .. its in their mentality .. one man comes and says im a man of god and god has sent me n blah and if he performs some magic **** or flies like a alien .. he is made the prophet thats what the world is all about ... from the first human ape to the baby who was born this very second its a process of evolution people like to believe that god created some one . . for athiests .. well at some point atheists were followers of some religion .. dont tell me that they were born atheists .. its crap if a man comes up and says hes an atheist . at some point of their lifes they belive that there is no god because of their personnel **** or what eva they went through .. every thing happens for a reason ,, nothing happens jus for the heck of it .. humanity will never be free of religious doctrines unless they stop using their hearts to think lol .. .. the evolution of mankind .. the whole system in which we live in .. the universe .. is there. ... we cant say for sure how it was made ,,, why do u think space research analysts cant go beyond some points because all of them believe in god ..... if they used their minds and thought about it for a second.. they would have crossed so many boudaries n blah .. bottom line the world can never be free of religious doctrines ... its their mentality ... humans are a error in the evolution .. lol ... no offense .. to any religion .. and talking about being moral christians and muslims are moral in every respect ... much more than atheists .....
anyways no offence to any religion ...

There will come a day when we will stop believing in the Christian God, and Allah, just like there was a day when Humans stopped believing in God of Sun, Rain, Beauty, Health....
I don't believe that we are only food to worms because there is too much parapsychology that deals with unexplained things, like the survival of the consciousness after physical death. The thing with Atheists is that they most of the time reject the possibility of soul's survival. Many times they would not go to trouble of reading the material dealing with these issues. I do understand that because, it is way easier not to believe in this cruel world.

Nice to think so. However, as long as there are weak minded people religion will continue to blight the world.

I believe that anyone has the freedom to believe in what he/she wants to believe.
But just know one thing, believing in something is better than believing in nothing!
After you die you will know if the religion that you believed in is righteous or not!
But tell me,don't you even believe that there is one God out there?!
