For an outdoor service, $50 is a fair donation, unless the minister has to travel a distance to get to the wedding site..then it should be $75-100.

If he/she is already a minister of the church and you are part of his congregation, $50-100 is appropriate. He should be extended an invitation to the reception & if he's married, his wife also.
If this is his job (wedding minister/officiant) or you are not a member of his congregation, you pay what he asks. No invitation is necessary.

It depends . They have to make plans, need to where a nice suit they go out of there way to do there best. I say about $50.00 or more if they drive a futher distance. But up to you. Pem

my friend married us so it was our gift.
sorry. i have no idea.
my daddy tried giving her $50. but she gave it to me without my knowing it. (she stuck it in my husbands' suitcase when she left).
