Each restaurant normally has their own slightly modified version, your best bet is to ask someone who owns or knows someone with a restaurant. They will be more than happy to help.

Chicken Tikka Masala was concocted in Britain, by Bangladeshi cooks working in "Indian" restaurants.
The secret is to use left over pieces of de-boned Tandoori Chicken, and to use restaurant grade canned tomato SOUP (Heinz will do) for the gravy - with loads of white pepper powder, and garam masala. Alternatively, cream should be added to regular tomato puree.

You mean those orange things?? I once ate chicken Tikka in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Let me tell you, the Tikkas found in UK or USA restaurants don't compare to the thing I ate. I myself am in search of that particular recipe.
PS: for the american version you can find it here:

Unfortunately you will never get it like what you get from a resturant as they all have differnt ways of cooking it. Just stick to the out of a jar type, they can be really nice.
