please dont attack me-this question is about Jesus-i didnt die for your sins or rise to offer to come into your heart to be your friend-Revelation 3 vs 19&20 "Behold i stand at your heart's door and knock if u let me in, i will forgive your sins and become your friend."
thanks alot-if you claim to be Jewish or muslim or anything else and reject him and what he says-why will u not do what he asks you to do-what else do u think about him? what did he ever do against you? im not asking what people have done wrong in his name? do you hate a person -who another person has hurt you and said they were the other person? example Jesus is your friend-even if u dont like him-and someone comes up and hits you and says this is from Jesus-do u get upset with Jesus or with the person that hit you or both?

Well, there are a few things. First, no one should use the name of God (or Jesus) as the cause for actions that would cause injury (physical, emotional, psychological) to someone else. Jesus sais, Love God with your whole heart, mind, soul and strength. Then love your neighbor as yourself. Use these are your main guide for your own actions and pray for all those who don't.

Secondly, it is my belief that Jesus loves everyone, regardless of their faith, and it up to those people to accept Jesus for them to be saved. Asking for forgiveness is a fabulous thing. If you really want to know more on this topic, ask a Catholic Priest about the sacrament of Reconcilliation. They're going to tell you that you have to Catholic to recieve it, but just ask about its healing powers and its personal effects.

Other than that, keep striving to find answers that are within you.

Peace.

as a member of my faith, you would be designated as a "completed Jew." To us that means someone who started out as one of God's chosen and now you have become a follower of His precious Son Jesus Christ. Welcome Home. We missed ya. What a day that will be when we all get together and chat.

Some people don't know what to do with Jesus. You either love Him, hate Him or ignore Him. On this website I suppose we have just as many who hate and ignore as we have who love Him.

It seems that He alone is responsible for all the ills of mankind. He alone is responsible for wars and rumors of wars, famines, earthquakes, natural disasters, starvation, poverty, sexual perversion, faith envy, etc. If you read the posts on this page you will find the only thing He is NOT RESPONSIBLE for is EVOLUTION. (You gotta love Him for that.)
:-)

I remember the day He came and stood at the door of my heart. He knocked and I opened that door. He is a part of my life today as he was those many years ago.

Remember to read your bible and study the word. It will help you increase your faith and your knowledge. Much the same as you would buy an atlas and a map if you intended to take a trip to another country----that Bible will help you understand what Heaven is going to be like and what you are going to see and do when you get there.

Well My friend I believe that god is inside of me; that I am god, and god is I, that we are one. I believe that we are our own entire god and goddess and that all the images and statues and paintings and sculptures that we make of god, Jesus, Buda, Shiva, Hecate, Bastet etcetera are only reflections of ourselves the way we would most wish to be! I believe that by following what is in our hearts we can always do the right thing and it is my belief that we all must chose our own path; how steep the hill and how far it is that we must climb, but, at the end of every moonlight expedition we will all meet the same closing

But the irony here is that by putting the word ‘sin’ into your question you are implying that you have done something wrong, but I ask you, if what you done was what you believed in your heart was right then how could it have been the wrong thing to do. Put into this context you can see that much rather then ‘Jesus’ forgiven your sins it is you who needs to do the forgiving

“In order to be forgiven you must first find it within yourself to forgive”

Perhaps this will explain better then I can

“Rabbi Abba (the scribe of the Zohar) once sat at the gateway of the Town of Lud.

He saw a traveller sit down on a pile of rocks at the edge of a mountain overlooking a cliff. The man was exhausted for his journey and immediately fell asleep. R. Abba watched this innocuous scene for a bit until to his dismay he watched as a deadly snake slithered out of the rocks making its way towards to the sleeping man.

[R. Abba, who for some reason was immobilized and transfixed by this unfolding drama,] suddenly watched as a new turn of events happened. A giant lizard jumped out between the rocks and killed the serpent. R. Abba continued watching and saw that the man stood up and was perplexed to see a beheaded snake lying in front of him. He quickly gathered his possessions and rose to continue his journey. At that instant, the pile of rocks he was sitting on collapsed and fell into the ravine below.
The man was about to wander off when R. Abba ran after him and recounted everything he had witnessed. R. Abba asked the man, "My friend to what do you attribute all these miracles that just transpired?"

The traveller at first did not want to bothered but felt the sincerity of R. Abba's question and confided in him.

"Throughout my life I have never let a person harm me, and where I did not pacify him. Never have I gone to sleep without forgiving someone for hurting me in any way. Anyone who would hurt me would I endeavour, with all my heart, to resolve whatever animosity was between us. And lastly, I would turn the hateful situation to doing acts of kindness for the person involved in the misunderstanding."

When R. Abba heard this, he burst into tears. This person's actions were greater than Joseph. For Joseph had to deal with his brothers, of course he was going to forgive his brothers. However, this man forgives anyone and everyone who has harmed him. It is no surprise that God performs miracles on a daily basis for this blessed man.”

I'm so happy for you! It's always so good to know when the children of God are going the right way. I hope you lead lots of people to do the same! May God bless you, brother, shalom!
P.S.: don't worry about all those people telling you you can't be a jew now... Jesus never created another religion after all, He just kept the original one! He was a Jew! His followers were called Christians, and so we are, because of His Name, and because not all of them were Jews.

I think Jesus was probably some sort of Gandhi type figure who lived 2,000 years ago, into civil disobediance etc and people afterwards thought we was related to God.

I'm an atheist by the way.

I don't mean to attack you, but the only person who can forgive you of your sins is the person you've sinned against. Jesus has nothing to do with it.
