No, nor will they, because it would amount to reducing their gross income from the United States, which is where they get most of their money, apparently.
What I'd like to know is, when is Mexico going to get all the way around the bend on modernization? Progress is a *****, but it's happening all over the world, why not in Mexico? Why aren't they becoming huge global exporters? They've got land, they've got minerals, what's the story, here? Wasn't the big dream of globalization to see countries like Mexico jump full-bore into the global economy, or whatever? What gives with the living-off-america bit? What market is Mexico expanding into? What's their representation in China, or in Europe, or in India? I know they make cars in Mexico, I know they make other things. Why not go completely 'legit' and erase for all time this black mark of sneaking under the wire etc? Your reputation counts for a lot in life, Mexico could have a stellar reputation, if they wanted to...

They have done nothing to stop them. In fact 60 percent of the mexican people belive that the American southwest rightfully belongs to Mexico and they have a "right" to cross the boarder and be here.
